Welcome to Stanford University!

Our office provides an allocation to all new faculty (upon acceptance) for outfitting their office using our kit of parts program. The furniture kit of parts program includes a variety of items to select from.

Upon acceptance, Facilities and Capital Planning (FCP) allocates funding for outfitting each new faculty members' office.

Included:

  • Furniture selected from the FCP kit of parts

  • Painting of office*

  • Carpet cleaning/replacement*

  • Basic audio visual

  • Clean out of existing office furniture

  • Window blind cleaning/replacement *

*Will be based on FCP project manager's assessment of existing conditions

Excluded:

  • Furniture selected and/or purchased outside of the FCP kit of parts (e.g.  Ikea, DWR and etc...)

  • Structural changes (e.g. removal of walls, etc...)

  • Computer equipment

  • Specialized audio visual equipment

  • Plants

  • Art work

  • Floor lamps

  • Pillows and other decor
